Barn in Bosorne,
This detached
three-bedroomed barn conversion stands at one end of a half acre plot on the
south facing side of Cot Valley, just outside St Just, 6 miles west of Penzance
in Cornwall.
The property is at the end
of a tarmac no-through-road, right next to the Coastal Path, in a small group
of local (not holiday) houses. There is
a path down to
The house is an old granite
barn, converted 15 years ago into a compact three-bedroomed family house with a
large garden. The main living room and
kitchen, with an oil-fired Aga, the conservatory, porch and utility room, and a
small sitting room and shower room are all on the ground floor, and there are
three bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor.
There is full double glazing, wall and floor insulation, solar water
heating, and terracotta tiled or wooden floors throughout.
There is a partially
under-ground double garage and workshop under construction adjacent to the
large parking area in front of the house.
The garden has mature (15 years) planting and some landscaping, but will
need re-shaping once the garage is finished (and re-buried).
